Staffordshire Short Range Smallbore Rifle Championship 2017 – Final Results

Phoebe Taylor did really well, taking the Junior and the Ladies titles, as well as becoming Staffordshire Short Range Champion at the age of just seventeen. She will have to wait a few years though before she can add the Veterans title to round off the collection.

Mention also has to be made of young Alex Buttery, who qualified for the final at the tender age of just ten years. Having just turned eleven, he then came second in the 'D' Class final. One to watch out for in the future.

Congratulations to the other Class winners and medalists.

Thanks to all who took part in the postal round, and to those in the final who made the effort to turn out on Mothers Day, and after the hour went on. I hope to see you all entering next year.

Cheers, Martyn Blezard.
